Commencement 2026 - What You Need to Know
Commencement Ceremony—THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
-
Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2026 is on Wednesday, June 24 at Liuna Station. Grade 12 students participating in the ceremony are asked to arrive at 4 pm and make their way to the Continental Ballroom to pick up and put on their cap and gown and be lined up in alphabetical order. Students MUST be there at 4 pm and the ceremony is set to begin in the Grand Ballroom at 5 pm.
-
Students will be presented with their gown packages and are asked to not bring or make any modifications to their cap or gown—no adornments of any kind will be permitted for when students cross the stage and gowns will be zipped up and caps will be worn. Students are asked to dress for the event as there will be professional photos taken by a photographer as students cross the stage. Consider bringing bobby pins to secure the cap.
-
Tickets will be available in the guidance office for those who have paid for and are participating in the ceremony starting Wednesday, June 17 and MUST be picked up before the ceremony. Only two guest tickets per participants are available.
-
Guests will be required to present their tickets at the event. Guests will not be admitted unless they have a ticket so don't forget them at home! Grade 12 students participating in the ceremony don't require a ticket.
-
If students have not yet submitted a Favourite Memory (or a personal thank you) for when they cross the stage, they need to see someone in the guidance office as the form is now closed.
